Best Time to Ride

Finland’s riding season runs from May to September, with June to August offering the warmest weather and the extraordinary phenomenon of near-constant daylight. In midsummer, Helsinki gets around 19 hours of daylight and in Lapland the sun barely dips below the horizon at all. May and September are cooler but beautiful — spring brings fresh green to the forests while September delivers stunning autumn colours across the Lakeland. Rain is possible throughout the season but rarely sustained.
