Vive la France!

Vive la France! Meaning Long live France! or Hurray for France!…Of course!

This year we will be continue our love affair with this beautiful country and you must join us on one (or two) of these fabulous tours.

I have for you three unmissable French Breaks with Motorrad Tours

France does short motorcycle tours better than anywhere else.

Quiet D-roads, flowing bends, historic towns, and food worth riding all day for.

Right now, we’re looking to take you on three brilliant French breaks. If you’ve been waiting for the right excuse to get away for a few days on the bike – this is it.

🌿 Lovely Loire: Short Break

Ride into the storybook heart of the Loire Valley, five days in May. Warmer weather, sunnier days, what’s not to love?

Think riverside sweepers, vineyard lanes, and grand châteaux rising out of the trees. This tour is relaxed, scenic, and rich in culture, perfect for riders who love beautiful roads without the rush.

Highlights

• Château-lined river roads

• Quiet, flowing countryside routes

• World-class food and wine

• Historic towns and stunning scenery

A gentle, picturesque ride ideal for unwinding while still enjoying fantastic motorcycling.

🌊 Brittany & Normandy: Short Break

Over six days in July, we take you across coastal roads, historic landmarks, and rolling countryside through Brittany and Normandy.

From rugged cliffs to D-Day beaches, this tour blends incredible riding with powerful history and charming seaside towns.

Highlights

• Atlantic coastal riding

• WWII history and landmarks

• Quiet rural lanes and sweeping bends

• Fantastic seafood and French hospitality

A perfect mix of scenery, history, and superb roads.

🏰 Carcassonne & the Millau

Not quite the short break but one of my favourites and now it has been completely refreshed for June ’26 with several improvements to the ride for this year.

We visit two of France’s most beautiful and important UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Rocamadour and Carcassonne.

To get there we enjoy stunning scenery on empty roads passing Castles, Gorges and scenic villages

A dramatic ride through the wild south of France to the medieval fortress of Carcassonne and across the jaw-dropping Millau Viaduct.

This is big-scenery riding at its best — deep gorges, sweeping mountain roads, and unforgettable views.

Highlights

• Ride the Tarn and Dourbie gorges

• Cross the spectacular Millau Viaduct

• Explore the walled city of Carcassonne

• Fast, flowing roads with epic landscapes

Pack light, bring your appetite, and let us and France do the rest.

These tours will offer you some of the most rewarding rides in the Motorrad Tours calendar and they’re ready to go now, you will not find better anywhere else!
