Embark on a captivating short break motorcycle tour through the heart of Brittany and Normandy, blending coastal beauty, medieval towns, and scenic countryside and all at a relaxed riding pace.
Starting in the historic port town of St Malo, we trace the stunning northern coastline to Perros-Guirec, nestled in the iconic Pink Granite Coast. This area is famed for its unique rock formations and breathtaking sea views, perfect for photo stops and coastal rides.
We then head south through charming villages and rolling landscapes to the fortified town of Concarneau on the Atlantic coast. Along the way, enjoy authentic Breton hospitality, delicious regional cuisine, and the thrill of riding through the Les Monts d’Arrée, a haven for motorcyclists with its winding roads and dramatic scenery.
The following day we ride one of the most spectacular stretches of the Brittany coast as we journey to Saint-Nazaire, taking in the world-famous Carnac Standing Stones, sweeping Atlantic views, picturesque coastal towns, and the unique character that makes this region one of France’s most rewarding touring destinations.
Our journey north reveals another side of Brittany, combining sweeping rural landscapes, charming Breton villages, and spectacular scenery before arriving in the magnificent medieval town of Dinan, where cobbled streets, timber-framed houses, and lively cafés provide the perfect backdrop for our final night and farewell dinner.
On the last day, we cruise through the lush, hilly terrain of Suisse Normande, often compared to Switzerland for its picturesque valleys and green pastures. Our tour concludes at the Port of Caen, with an afternoon ferry crossing back to Portsmouth, arriving early evening.
With daily mileages averaging just 140 miles, this tour is designed for relaxed riding, long lunches, and leisurely evenings. You’ll stay in hand-picked accommodations that reflect the character of each region, and enjoy the best of French food, wine, and hospitality; a perfect reward after a day on the road.

All our hire bikes for Classic and European Explorer Tours are current model BMW’s complete with ABS, Heated Grips, Panniers, Top Box, Tank Bag, Inner bags for all boxes and a pre programmed BMW Navigator GPS included.

HIRE BIKES: If you are booking with a hire bike we will hand your bike over on the afternoon prior to the first tour day. This will give you a chance to get familiar with the bike, make any adjustments, arrange your packing and not waste any time on the first day riding.
Day 1 Your ferry departs Portsmouth for the overnight crossing to Saint Malo, a relaxed start and a chance to meet yourTour Leader and fellow riders and settle into the flow of the tour ahead.
Day 2 Begin your journey in the historic port town of St Malo, riding along the scenic northern coast to the stunning Pink Granite Coast and the charmingseaside town of Perros-Guirec.
Day 3 Heading south, the roads open into sweeping picturesque Breton countryside and villages, classic France motorcycle riding at its best. Arriving at the walled town of Concarneau on the Atlantic coast for an evening of local cuisine and culture.
Day 4 Ride one of the most spectacular stretches of the Brittany coast as we journey from the charming fishing port of Concarneau to Saint-Nazaire, taking in the world-famous Carnac Standing Stones, sweeping Atlantic views, picturesque coastal towns, and the unique character that makes this region one of France's most rewarding touring destinations.
Day 5 Continue north through the heart of Brittany, leaving Saint-Nazaire behind as we follow a scenic route towards the beautifully preserved medieval town of Dinan for our final night and farewell dinner in one of France's most enchanting historic settings.
Day 6 Cruise through the lush hills and valleys of Suisse Normande, a region reminiscent of Switzerland, before arriving at the Port of Caen. Board the 4:30 PM ferry from Caen, arriving in Portsmouth early evening with unforgettable memories of your French motorcycle adventure.
