Tour Overview
This unforgettable Morocco Explorer Tour begins and ends in Marrakech, the vibrant Red City where ancient traditions meet modern energy. After landing, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to a welcoming Riad in the heart of the Medina. Enjoy a relaxed evening with a welcome dinner before the riding begins.
Your first day on the bike takes you west towards the Atlantic coast, a gentle introduction to the tour. In Essaouira, discover the striking blue fishing fleet and historic sea walls lined with cannon. Stay in another authentic Riad within the walled Medina, surrounded by the sights and sounds of this coastal gem.
From the coast, head south into the countryside for a night in a remote Riad tucked into the Atlas Mountains. This region becomes your playground for the next few days as you ride the legendary Tizi n’Test and Tizi n’Tichka Passes, climbing over 2,000 metres through dramatic landscapes. Visit the ancient Tin Mal Mosque, stay in hand picked Riads, and soak up Morocco’s rich culture and scenery.
Next, ride to the UNESCO listed Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning ancient citadel that has starred in films like Gladiator, The Mummy and The Living Daylights. Your Riad overlooks the Ksar, giving you the chance to explore its winding alleys and timeless architecture.
From Ait Ben Haddou, follow the scenic roads of the Telouet Gorge beneath red rock cliffs as you make your way back to Marrakech. With two nights in the city, you’ll have time to explore the Medina, barter in the souks, visit the Berber Museum, or simply relax with a glass of Moroccan mint tea.
Please Note Throughout the tour, we stay in hand picked Moroccan Riads, either in the heart of vibrant Medinas or in peaceful traditional and authentic villages. These unique lodgings offer a rich and immersive experience, far beyond what chain hotels on the outskirts can provide.

Motorcycles for this tour are supplied by our local BMW Travel Partner. They are BMW's equipped with ABS, heated grips and panniers. You are welcome to take your own GPS unit or you can rent one. PLEASE NOTE:  Morocco is a very friendly and safe country with a well established tourist industry. Do not be put off - Our Tour Director has travelled through Morocco on many occasions without incident and it is a personal favourite of his, but you need to remember this is Africa, not Europe.

Day 1 Arrive in the vibrant 'Red City' of Marrakech and transfer to our charming Riad in the heart of the Medina. Enjoy a relaxed evening and welcome dinner as the anticipation grows.
Day 2 Ease into the tour with a scenic ride to Essaouira. Wander the historic sea walls, explore the Medina, and soak up the laid-back coastal vibe.
Day 3 From the coast, the tour heads inland through Berber heartlands, climbing into the Anti Atlas Mountains. Tonight’s stay is in a remote Riad surrounded by rugged beauty and timeless landscapes.
Day 4 Today brings one of Morocco’s most iconic rides, the Tizi n’Test Pass. Twisting through the High Atlas, this demanding route rewards you with breathtaking views and thrilling curves as you head northeast.
Day 5 Another great riding day twisting over the Tizi n'Tichka. After a day of exhilarating riding, you arrive at the UNESCO-listed Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning desert citadel featured in films like Gladiator and The Mummy.
Day 6 Your final riding day takes you through the dramatic Telouet Gorge, beneath red rock cliffs and across the Atlas once more, returning to Marrakech for a well-earned rest.
Day 7 With the bikes parked, today is yours to explore the city. Dive into the vibrant chaos of Jemaa el-Fnaa, wander the souks, or relax in a rooftop café with mint tea and views over the Medina.
