Your journey begins with a seamless LeShuttle crossing from the UK before rolling into Belgium and the quiet charm of Wallonia. This opening stage sets the tone for a premium guided motorcycle tour, combining relaxed scenic motorbike routes with medieval towns and flowing roads that introduce the rhythm of European motorcycle touring.
Heading south into Germany, the ride builds through the Black Forest toward Freiburg, one of the most celebrated regions for motorcycle riding in Europe. Smooth tarmac, sweeping bends and dense forest scenery create an immersive experience that defines Germany motorcycle touring and sets up the transition into the Alps.
The landscape intensifies as you pass Lake Constance, where Germany, Austria and Switzerland meet, before climbing into true alpine territory. The route delivers exceptional riding across South Tyrol including Penser Joch, Passo delle Erbe and Furkelpass, leading to a base in the Dolomites. Here you experience some of the finest roads in Italy, with the option to ride iconic passes such as Giau, Pordoi and Gardena, each offering technical precision and unforgettable mountain views.
Leaving the Dolomites, the journey becomes a true multi country motorcycle adventure as you ride from Italy through Austria and into Switzerland. High alpine roads, constant elevation changes and perfectly engineered passes define the ride to Davos, capturing the essence of a premium Alps motorcycle tour across Europe.
Switzerland continues to deliver world class riding with the Furka and Oberalp passes, both standout highlights of any serious motorcycle tour. These legendary routes combine dramatic scenery with flawless surfaces before the journey flows into France and toward Mulhouse.
The final mountain stage reveals one of the hidden gems of France motorcycle touring. The Vosges mountains and the Route des Cretes offer fast, flowing ridgeline riding and panoramic views, creating a memorable finale before returning north for your final evening. A last ride through northern France completes the journey back to Calais, closing an exceptional European motorcycle adventure across Belgium, Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and France.
Please Note:Â This is a riding focussed tour with big mileage, long days, demanding roads and lots and lots of hairpins. If you are looking for an Alpine tour but with a more relaxed pace have a look at Annecy and the Alps, Lakes and Mountains: Italy or French Riviera and the Grand Alps! Weather in the Alps at altitude can be unpredictable and while it is summer in the valleys, it can be winter on the peaks. It is suitable only for experienced and confident riders and pillions. We recommend you carefully check your tyres and replace them if in any doubt prior to departure, especially if riding a BMW S or K series bikes.

HIRE BIKES: If you are booking with a hire bike we will hand your bike over on the afternoon prior to the first tour day. This will give you a chance to get familiar with the bike, make any adjustments, arrange your packing and not waste any time on the first day riding.

Day 2 Heading south, the ride sharpens as you enter Germany, carving through sweeping roads toward Freiburg on the edge of the Black Forest. This region is a cornerstone of Germany motorcycle touring, known for its smooth tarmac, fast curves and dense forest landscapes that create a pure and immersive riding experience.
Day 3 The scenery builds as the Alps rise ahead and you arrive in Garmisch Partenkirchen beneath the towering Zugspitze. This is classic alpine riding and a defining moment of any motorcycle tour in Germany, where dramatic mountain backdrops meet perfectly engineered roads.
Day 4 The tempo lifts as you enter the high Alps and push deeper into Europe’s most iconic riding terrain. Penser Joch, Passo delle Erbe and Furkelpass deliver relentless variety with tight switchbacks, flowing climbs and breathtaking views. This is the gateway to the Dolomites, widely regarded as some of the best motorcycle roads in Italy and a highlight of any premium guided motorcycle tour.

Day 6 Turning west, the journey evolves into a true multi country motorcycle adventure as you ride from Italy into Austria and on to Switzerland. Day 7 The return north begins with no drop in quality. Switzerland motorcycle touring takes centre stage with the iconic Furka and Oberalp passes, both essential rides for any serious motorcyclist. PLEASE NOTE:  You will also require a Vignette for Switzerland and Austria. Currently the Swiss Vignette is CHF40 and Austria is €5.10. Vignettes can be purchased whilst on tour or in advance through government authorised websites.  The Timmelsjoch High Alpine road is also a toll road and is circa €18.
